GKB Sandfiller. How does it work?
- First, a rotor with scarifying blades mills slots in your turf.
- The milled material is blown into the collection container by the wind vanes.
- The machine fills the slots accurately with sand, by means of a broad hydraulically powered sand conveyer belt and the stainless-steel sand fill unit.
- Finally, two oscillating rollers press down on the turf.
- The sand can be mixed with grass seed to seed the area at the same time as sand-filling
You can use the Sand-filler in different ways, depending on the operation you want to carry out.
To scarify and collect the milled material, use the Sand-filler without using the sand bunker. In the case that you want to ‘attenuate’ as well, you can fill the sand bunker with dried sand. The scarified slots are then filled with the sand from the bunker.
To speed up the recovery of the turf it is good to overseed the green. In that case mix the dried sand with grass seed. In this way, you can scarify, sand and reseed the green in one pass with the Sand-filler.
